1. Open your Photoshop .PSD template and choose the photo layer you want to add your photo to from the layer palette.
The layer will turn dark blue in your layer palette to indicate that it is the active layer.
If you don't see your layer palette press the "f7" key on your keyboard.

2. Open your photo and drag it into the photo layer you chose in step 1.  It will become dark blue in your layer palette because it is now the active layer.  If you are having a hard time dragging the photo over, try the following method instead.

Try opening your photo then choose "All" from the Select dropdown menu or ctrl+a (Windows) or cmd+a (Mac OS) on your keyboard. Now choose "copy" from the Edit dropdown menu or ctrl+c (Windows) or cmd+c (Mac OS) on your keyboard. Open the template you want to paste your photo into. Click on the photo layer and paste your photo in. To do this choose "paste" from the edit dropdown menu or ctrl+v (Windows) or cmd+v (Mac OS).

*Note:  If you are using a high quality photo it will most likely cover the entire template. See next step to clip your photo.

3. Clip your photo to the photo layer below it.  To do this, hold down Alt key (Windows) or Option key (Mac OS) on your keyboard, position the pointer over the line dividing the two layers in the layers palette (the pointer changes to two overlapping circles clipping group pointer ), and click.  Once the layers are clipped together, you will see a downward arrow next to your photo and your photo will take on the properties of the photo layer beneath it.  Alternately, you may also choose ctrl+g (Windows) or cmd+g (Mac OS) on your keyboard.

*Note: Once you clip your photo to the photo layer below it you'll need to resize it.  See next step to resize your photo.

4. Your photo should be very large so you'll need to fit it to the photo layer.  Size the image to your liking by selecting edit>transform from the Photoshop dropdown menu. Your photo may be so large its corners are out of sight.  To show your entire canvas choose ctrl+0 (zero). Now you should be able to see all four corners and your template may be smaller.  Hold down your shift key as you drag any of the corners to size your photo proportionally.  Use your magnifying glass to enlarge your view if needed. Repeat steps 1-4 for all of your photos.

5. Now edit your text.  Choose the horizontal text tool from the toolbox then choose the text layer from the layer palette that you want to edit.

6. Now highlight the text you want to edit.  You can resize the text if needed by bringing up your character palette from the
Photoshop dropdown menu, window>character.  Repeat steps 5-6 for all of your text layers.
